Believe me, I don't think the hit was that huge of an ordeal. But it is deemed illegal, and the kid has done it before. I wouldn't call that an illegal move by my own standards, but I also dont run the NHL... You guys would hate it if I did.

I just think and physical interaction between players and fans should really monitored strictly. That could have been a pretty bad scenario had that stick ricocheted off the top of the boards into the crowd. Obviously worse case scenario, but imagine that hit a child directly in the eye. first point of contact was shoulder to knee/thigh watch it again

and he didnt go in there to play the puck

he went in there ready to hurt because he knew salo was coming and was butt hurt because salo tied him up earlier in the play and he couldnt get the puck past him out of the zone ... also threw 2 punches at back of salos head earlier in that play
