I’m trying to figure this out ... is the problem BB’s kid messing up very good LBs?

27 points by Miami and most of the damage was done in the middle ... crazy

Pats were showing man to man and then dropping into a zone leaving the middle wide open. Flores deaalt with same BS until BB let him get rid of the Patricia "bend don't break" and go with an attack defnse that won the Super Bowl. Flores is in Miami and he brought O'shea with him and Flores knew that BB would force his old defense to be played against a bunch of small fast WRs like Miami has.

Think about it for a minute, do you remember CBS showing a replay of Butler dropping back to cover Wilson running across the middle? Wilson dropped a pass with a potential 50 yeard gain written all over it. Belichick still wouldn't go straight man to man or straight zone. He was willing to give up 5 yard passes all day. The only problem was that they were 12 and 13 yard passes all day.

It was just piss poor coaching and play calling. That and the Patriots have a quarterback who is showing his age. Brady's ego wants to play until he's 45 but his stats and ability to perform are showing that he's no longer able to reach down inside himself and then will the team to perform. These kids were raised playing Mario Brothers and Fortnight, not Pong and Pac Man.

I keep thinking of that Baltimore blowout where the LBs were going nuts on the sidelines. Of course the announcers were opining they were cheerleading, but I saw massive frustration.

The OL was nonexistent for the first half of the season and weak for the rest of the season. The running game never happened and Brady seemed like he couldn’t get over the pressure defenses sent him ... and I mean between his ears ... that and receivers who gave up on their routes. He has the record for throwaways this year, no?

We all thought that Baltimore loss was a much needed wake up call for a very talented team playing half asleep. But they never did wake up ... I figure either this was BB and Brady’s worst season, or maybe this team wasn’t as talented as we thought ...

The Patriots loss ties an NFL record for the biggest upset ever (17 pt favorite). No bueno.

With a win against the Dolphins, Brady will have 250 total wins. 73 loses. In 323 games played. A home record of 144 - 25. A Road record of 106 - 48. The only QB to have 100 road win. Second place? You guessed it, Manning with 88. Third place? Bress with 76.

There are only four QBs with 100 home wins. #2 Farve with 123. #3 Manning with 112. Elway with 105. Brees could be #5. He sits at 94.

Roethlisberger is next at 86. Rodgers is at 72. Does anyone think these two will make to 100?

If the Pats beat the Dolphins, Brady will have 50 more wins than the second closest. Manning with 200. Favre with 199. Brees with 170. Elway with 162. Roethlisberger 157. Marino with 155. Montana is next with 133. Huge gap there.

Hopefully this Saturday.

or expected... it looked like Flores was calling the plays Sunday - I thought it was odd he had the offensive call sheets on the sidelines, in retrospect.
