How does the defense go from 10 sacks to just 4 QB hits. No sacks.

They give us a glimmer of hope just to snatch it away. The secondary and tackling once again was terrible. If you're going to rush 5-7 defenders, someone needs to get home.

On a slightly positive note, AVP has opened up the playback and isn't quite as predictable. We've gone from vanilla to French vanilla.

At this point, what does a win get us? Give me an entertaining game and I'm satisfied.
Totally agree. I just hope they open the checkbook next year and surround Maye with some protection and a dependable receiver.

Great read.

There was also another tactic that helped.
The walk-around defense.
The defense would not take their positions until the time that Goff's radio would get turned off.
They could not get help from the coaches until after the play was over and even then, they could not know the defense until the snap.....
Also...Jason McCourty.

It is about time they started to open it up a bit and not be as predictable as they have been. Albeit technically they truly don't have the weapons to "open up" the playbook, especially with Polk being a complete and utter useless waste of a roster spot

I think it's a little to early in Polks career to be calling for cutting or benching. He's played half and NFL season, and half of the with Briskett and a shitty O line. I would at least think another offseason and training camp before we call for the lynching.

Talk the talk, you'd better walk the walk!

:yawning: I have zero issues with any player having confidence

I don't either.. It's a good thing. However, at some point you actually have to deliver and he hasn't so far
