Gilmore picked a heck of a week to get his ass handed to him. Bad game all around. Brady’s pick 6 was horrible. The run game looked fine. I’d probably just run it all game long and not let Brady make bad throws and decisions and not give this sad group of WR’s the chance to drop the few passes Brady actually makes. Poorly planned game for such an important game.

The WRs dropped about five passes today, but Brady did not get the ball where it had to be on at least 8 or 10 plays. He overthrew open receivers and he was forcing receivers to drop to their knees or dive for ankle high catches that just can't be made. The defense did not take the ball away today and the Patriots paid the price for trying to win with a disfunctional offense.

We never realized how good Gronk and Amendola actually were about getting open. The new receivers don't have the experience and with Edelman dropping several passes today, things just seem to be falling apart.

I think that Brady just can't play football 'his' way in today's NFL. If you expect your receivers to be able to make plays every week, you, as their quarterback, have to work with them from the very beginning and not just get started in July. Training camp is in session for two weeks before the first preseason game and then you, the starting QB, don't play until Week 3 of the preseason and then only for a half. Two weeks later the season starts and you expect everyone to be on your page. Problem is that your not in the same book.

If Brady is back as the Patriots quarterback in 2020, he has to be in the mini camps and OTAs.If he's not, then don't bring him back.

Today was the coaching great game plan all around. defense has been going backwards but that is also due to having to bail this offense out and them being on the field to long all year and it finally has shown up they have been worn down that is why the bye was needed but to late and most likely a one aand done like was stated above.especially if it is The titans they will pound henry and are way to physical for the Pats

What talent? The D dominated against the worst os the NFL. Sucked against the best. The offense has an old and declining Brady and Edelman. The o.line had health issues most of the season. Need to draft L and R tackles. WR's suck. No TE's. The RB's are decent. White, like Vereen, had an excellent SB and hasn't done much since.

Everyone was so high on this D after the SB. But it wasn't that great when you look at how the injury affected Gurly. He was no threat. He did have a couple good runs. If he is healthy, he runs all over that D. Then Geoff plays better. We all know this Pats D sucks at stopping the run. But, that didn't happen and Pats got #6.

It’s just a hard pill to swallow, not being one of the elite teams in the NFL. We are good. Pretty damn good. But not elite. I love Tom Brady and everything he’s for the Patriots. But, he is what he is now. An average QB who isn’t going to get any better. I hope he does retire and we move on to another QB who has the chance to improve and get better. Who that QB is????? I haven’t a clue. But I feel it’s time to move on.

Agreed.

This team knew going into the season that without Gronk was going to be an uphill battle on offense, especially come the meaty part of the schedule.

They were fortunate to have the continuing playing from the defense from last year's playoffs going into this season. It's not fair to expect them to bail out offense out every game.

They should have been aware of that going into the season and found ONE THING on offense they can do consistently well. They began the season with the plethora of running backs. That should have been their focus. Particularly, after the musical chairs they were playing with the receivers with Thomas, Brown, and Gordon.

Forget halftime adjustments, they failed to make mid-season adjustments. And Tom's whiny leadership hasn't helped either.

Titans are losing 7-0 in Houston

If they both lose the Titans are the 6th seed and will be playing the Patriots in Foxboro next week.

If the Patriots win, they play the Chiefs in Arrrowhead on January 12th.
If the Titans win they play the Ravens in Baltimore.

If the Titans win, the Chiefs get the Texans or Bills in Arrowhead.

Wouldn't a Bills/Titans AFCCG be a hoot???
