Here's hoping. Defense needs to get a 3 and out though instead of letting Buffalo kill more and more of the clock.

They allowed practically all 3rd down conversions. Didn’t matter if it was 3rd and 2 or 3rd and 20. Some of the worst zone coverage I’ve seen in long time, huge lanes and space everywhere.

They did and it showed. Still, Pats had as much or more to play for. 2 bad showings in a row. Will be lucky to make playoffs.

The sad thing about the game today is that the Bills stated outright that they wanted to make Mac Jones throw. He's 13 for 26 (50% for 125 yard, no TDs, no INTs. They did exactly what they wanted to do and put pressure on him and he failed to deliver. Not 100% his fault. OLine just couldn't hold the Bills DLine back.

I didn't expect them to be this good back in September, but I did expect them to be better than they've been the past two weeks after winning 7 in a row. As angry as I am with Jackson and Bryant AND the coaching staff for not putting someone else on McKenzie other than Bryant who was 3 steps behind McKenzie all afternoon.

JC missed two INts and worse, tried to roll tackle Allen four yards behind the line of scrimmage and was looking at the grass and took out Hightower instead. If he'd just gone low and wrapped up one leg the Pats would have had the ball could have had a chance to win the game. Totally piss poor play.

Patriots just dropped to #7 in the playoff race.

This season when then Pats make those plays they win and when the don't they lose.

When JC dropped that second INT I pretty much figured it was over. Gotta make those plays.

Agree with a lot of that. The Harry drop killed a drive which turned into a nightmare, and that easy JC pick looked like a potential Pick 6. I think he hurt his arm before that play so maybe not at 100%?

And the holding call which brought back 18 yard gain + 10 = -28 yards.

He's got 15 games under his belt. Not really a rookie anymore.

He doesn't have the maturity that he's going to have to find before January 16th if this team expects to do anything when the regular season ends.

He's also going to need some support up front. No quarterback can perform if the defense is in your face all day.

I won't argue any of that but I would add that if our defense would make a few stops instead of just letting teams march down the field and kill the clock then maybe the offense would get more opportunities for some positive plays.

It was a tough game for him, why did they put in on his shoulders? Harris was running at a 7-8 yard clip on average.
