Football is a team sport. The entire team has to be working properly for any kind of success. If you have the moist incredible Special Teams in the history of football and the offense and defense suck, the team will suck. Having the greatest QB in the history of football helped this team every year he was here because he could actually make players around him play to their best abilities because they didn't want to fail themselves.

Anybody watch 45 year old TB12 beat the Saints last night. He still has that "Something" that gets everyone around him to rise above and make things happen. Say what you will, if Brady was here, with this team, They would be 9-3 at the very worst. They would have beaten the Packers, Vikings and yes, the Bills last week. The difference is that Brady KNOWS how to win.

I'm back to my feelings last spring. I don't want to see BB kept around to beat Shula's record. He's 21 wins behind. At the rate he's going, he'll be here for the least until the end of 2025 and this team will not improve. No one will want to stay here when theie contract is up. BB doesn't pay and these guys are looking out for themselves and they don't care about who they play for. I think it's time for the Patriots to move on.

Mac, Meyers, Slater and McCourty all had negative things to say about the play calling last week. What they were saying was that Matt Fatricia is lousy and has been all year. When players think that a coach sucks and are willing to say publicly, it might be time for the HC to listen. Bill doesn't listen to anyone. That is a problem. That tells everyone that he thinks he's right and they're wrong. Failure to accept that having Patricia do anything with the offense was a wrong decision only compounds the problem. Having unhappy players is only going to make it even worse.

Do you honestly believe that BB will make wholesale coaching changes next year? I have some waterfront property in southern Florida for sale.

And that same team went 10-6 with Brady back the next year.
I remember and went back to the playoffs. Need to win your division and they didn't in 00, 08, 20, 21 and so far not this season either, coincidence?

It was a version of the 260 V8. Designed by Chevy
u meant ford right :suds:

The 260 is a slight modification of the Ford 221 Windsor with more compression and bore than the 221, thereby increasing horsepower and torque. The 260 Windsor was standardized in most full-size Ford sedans in 1963 and was even featured in early models of the legendary 1964 Ford Mustang.

Actually, I got it backwards.Chevy stole the small block design from ford.

How many of you guys were actually around in 1963?

I was 13.

8th grade. Girl made fun of me because I was wearing a checkered shirt and continental slacks. She was nearly yelling that nobody wears squares with checks. I only had two pairs of pants and two shirts that I could wear to school. I paid her back. She was a majorette and she had shit stained uniform shorts in her desk. I hung them inside out all day. She freaked out when she got back to home room and saw them. Kid in that same home room class committed suicide after seeing his dog get run over. He was the first dead person I ever saw. John Kennedy was assassinated, 1963 is burned in my memory. I fell in love with the 1963 Studabaker Avanti.

In 63 I moved from Massachusetts to California.
Cuban missile crisis, Kennedy assassination, California palm trees and Broasted Chicken.
Finished 4th grade year in Santa Ana. 5th grade in Anaheim was a very fun year for me.
1964 I moved to San Luis Obispo.....

In 63 I was living in Somerville MA and 4 years old.

My favorites were all Tonka trucks.
In the 80's, I went to the dump almost every day.
I looked for and found Tonka trucks the rich kids threw away.
I painted them in a camoflage pattern and they became my son's favorite "GI JOE trucks"

I'm about 5 years younger and by that age the Tonkas were still fun, but the Hot Wheels took over....

I still remember my cousin (who was a shit) chasing me and whipping me with the tracks.

I'm from the Babe Parelli and Gino Cappaletti era when Cappletti was a WR AND Kicker.

I was 12 (12/10/1962) when my father took me to the first game they played in Fenway to see the Patriots play the Oakland Raiders . Patriots won 20-0. Huge, I mean gigantic upset. I still have the stub buried somewhere amongst the treasures of my youth. Holy shit, it will be 60 year anniversary day after tomorrow.

We wouldn't want to get in the way of BK spinning a yarn. Gotta love the detail of "still have the stubb". What's alarming is they did play Oakland in December and the score was 20-0 won by the home team. But the game was in Oakland. Too much coincidence here to not think he looked up details, got some wrong, and posted his "recollection".

I wonder if BK went to the Fisk foul pole game along with the ten's of millions of others who claim they were there...
