We want stories but are unhappy when the stories don't fit into our narrative. There are other threads right now on this site doing the same thing about reporters that posters don't like. Betcha those reporters aren't distracted by negative responses to their reports, in fact they probably welcome it.
In terms of this comment - good pt. I can only speak for myself. Sure - I want stories, but I primarily want stories about the actual play on the field and what moves teams are considering. I don't have to hear about made up crap in the locker room, the latest non-football related tweets, the billionth unrelated story about the name change, etc, etc. This is especially true when the source of the news is very suspect (Bleacher Report) or comes from a source that has an agenda against the Redskins and Snyder (WP - although some of their more recent reporters are not bad).
It is not a question of stories not falling in line with my views (I love to read a good anti-Redskins story that relates to actual play) - it is more about the crap that some of these media types spew at the current time.
