We want stories but are unhappy when the stories don't fit into our narrative. There are other threads right now on this site doing the same thing about reporters that posters don't like. Betcha those reporters aren't distracted by negative responses to their reports, in fact they probably welcome it.

In terms of this comment - good pt. I can only speak for myself. Sure - I want stories, but I primarily want stories about the actual play on the field and what moves teams are considering. I don't have to hear about made up crap in the locker room, the latest non-football related tweets, the billionth unrelated story about the name change, etc, etc. This is especially true when the source of the news is very suspect (Bleacher Report) or comes from a source that has an agenda against the Redskins and Snyder (WP - although some of their more recent reporters are not bad).

It is not a question of stories not falling in line with my views (I love to read a good anti-Redskins story that relates to actual play) - it is more about the crap that some of these media types spew at the current time.

I'm not sure how old you are so what I'm about to say may seem normal to you. There was a time that what the press reported was exactly based on field of play and related stories. Sadly, that time is in history books and have given way to 24hour news cycles, internet, twitter, social media sites (like this one) and such. Unfortunately, we do have to read, hear or view stories like the ones that you say you don't have to. Personally, when I read, hear or see stories like those I find what's most interesting is reactions to those stories. For me having the ability to place such events in their proper perspective saves me a lot of undue angst. Trust me when I tell you that the BS bin is constantly getting the lions share of most of my days. (I sleep so much better too! )

i see a scenario that could very well make stymie right about RG3 so i wont rule out what he says

in my scenario the skins negotiate with KC and cant come to an agreement much like what happened to RAK . they franchise him but unlike Rak KC doesnt sign the tender

this makes the skins hold onto Rg3 at 16 mil which is only guaranteed if he is injured they go through mini camp and preseason and discover that this year of sitting that Rg3 has greatly improved in his qb skill set thus making KC expendable as they rescind making Rg3 the starter in 16

KC is on an audition this year while robert is going through qb 101 on the bench

now please call 911 for shark because i believe his textual heart has stopped and he may become a live shooter at the university of miami
