The Flyers haven't brought anything significant to this game. We might as well not play the third period and call this a regulation loss. Maybe our players could use the rest. They look tired and it's embarrassing, frankly.

Don't worry, we have been missing our third period for a while. Lots of pregnancy tests. (too much? no? yes?)

Either way, I just started watching, so chances are you'll win. I've been bad luck lately.

I'm fucking disgusted right now. I'd want my money back if I were at this game tonight.

thats awful.. and i'm sure by work you mean have one guy on a jackhammer while 3 ppl watch him, that way they can wake you up for a month

I'm going that far. They tease us with a glimpse of what they can do when they really get after it in the game against Washington and follow it up with a complete lack of passion and effort. The compete level just is not there. The Penguins want it more and therefore they will get the win. It's that simple.

When was the last time the Flyers actually looked good in front of Bobrovsky, even if only for 1 period? Last I can recall was the game before the All-Star break when they crushed the Habs 5-2.

i think a lot of it is richards to be honest.. i haven't seen passion from him all season.. i feel like he's bored with his life.. on the ice, in his interviews (when he actually agrees to one).. he just looks bored.

I guess when it comes to numbers, yes. And health was probably the key to winning the Cup in '09. But it's like one after another this year. And high profile too. But you're right, every guy and every team's number comes up eventually...but I will complain :)

thats what i always said about leighton last year.. i never liked him as a goalie but the flyers played so much better in front of him than anyone else last year

The 2003-04 and 2005-06 Lightning beg to differ. 92 man games lost to injury in those 2 seasons combined.

I've watched all pittsburgh sports for a long time, and apart from the revolving door on the steeler o-line, i've never seen a roster get decimated like this before from a star standpoint.

All three top centers have now missed at least 20 games, or more this season. Not to mention the other plethora of injuries.

So well known facts that were proven wrong by the FSN crew tonight:

-Boynton was traded from Anaheim to Philadelphia, not claimed off waivers from Chicago.
-Flyers beat the Sabres in the shootout to make the playoffs in game 82 last year, not the Rangers.
-Claude Giroux was taken 13th overall in 2006, not 22nd overall.
