Why does it have to be by week 5? I don't care if it's week 12 as long as he learns to PROPERLY take a ball from under center and call plays in the huddle...

And I'll add.... And becomes the Rams Franchise QB starter they've been long looking for.

Damn it's so easy to forget that some players progress a bit slower that others and that Case was a young player who bounced around a lot prior to Nick and was one who would never beat out Nick for all the marbles the Rams had in Foles at the time comparatively speaking.

I'm thankful he looked so good to close out last year and seems to have progressed even more so in this preseason.
Speaking of people getting their heads out of their collective asses.

I think Case's development is taking place and a bit of youth/talent from the WRs would help + a TE that can catch. Good defense and a good RB always help any QB.

I have to disagree on my head in my ass. I'm not the one who did not notice Goff in the shotgun every play so far this preseason. I wish it wasn't true, but i do HOPE (there's that word again) that the development of the youth we have takes a major step.

If the ESPN "play-by-play" guy did indeed get this correct.. this was his first snap from behind center and the only one of the possession.

This play does not have (shotgun) next to it... And it was in the shotgun for a TD.

SO a total of 3 times Goff was NOT in the shotgun according to the "play-by-play" on ESPN. Even though one of them he was in the shotgun and threw a TD to Brown.


I can't believe Vita you have not noticed the amount of snaps Goff has been in the shotgun. Guess we could always run a Chip Kelly hurry up offense?

and he couldn't beat out a busted up Warner. remember, Warner still had thumb issues and couldn't hold onto ball or grip very well and kept fumbling.

not every #1 QB needs to be thrown in the fire right away. I actually think it's good he doesn't start until that Oline starts to gel so he doesn't end up like Carr ( whose career got ruined because of poor Oline ).
