My wife thinks I’m stupid. It’s the weirdest thing. I love novels, I love well developed characters and story. I just have trouble sitting down and being like, ok I’m going to put all my attention and focus into reading a book.

Every day after work, before dinner. Every weekend morning. Just about every vacation day morning.

Finished Red Rising by Pierce Brown last night. I think I am really going to enjoy this series.

Can't recall who put me on to Chris Moore.

Too lazy to look.

Kudos to you though.

First one I could get was Fool. Lots of laughing, huge laughs in fact.

Makes me want to re-read The Sot-Weed Factor by John Barth.

Serpent of Venice is another book with Pocket if you are looking for some more heinous fuckery

Lamb is great. I also liked Dirty Job.

While waiting I'm reading the Coop capers as I call them. Not sure if there are more than 2, and they are Kadry's not Butchers.

The Everything Box and The Wrong Dead Guy.
I like Kadrey, but I like Butcher more. Tried the Iron Druid series too, but wasn't as good.

Give me Dresden!

I like both more or less equally.

Kadrey is more graphic. More cussing. I like that. I like the fucked up gods too. I like the overall premise for Sandman Slim.

Dresden is a nicer story and not as foul mouthed.

I'm reading the last two books in Philip Kerr's (RIP) Bernie Gunther series. Always enjoyable.
