Ok.
That is why Boston is making wholesale changes.
Not sure I'd want him, either, but maybe a better fit than DerozanI'd rather have Gay, and he's a FA and possibly at the ring chase stage.
I haven’t seen Kispert mocked outside the lottery.
He is signed for 3 or 4 more seasons so no one should be writing articles like that.
Nice try, but you failed. The expectations for the Celtics this season were nowhere near the Lakers. Boston had a disappointing season. L.A.'s season was a failure. Weren't they favored to come outta the WC at one point?
That wasn't my point DJ. You can disagree with me all you want. But it was the Lakers that were picked to go to the Finals and not the Celtics. Because of that the Lakers had the more disappointing season.
Surprised we even have a 1st rounder...LOL

Expectations were far higher than a 7th seed and first round exit for both, so in that way they were similarly disappointing.
That point was before AD got hurt again, and had he not, they could very well still be alive.
Well, that and the Celtics haven't been to the finals in over a decade. Must be reassuring to be the last team that lost a playoff series to the Knicks.
So you're just gonna ignore that Tatum (who also had the virus), Brown, Smart & Kemba didn't even play 20 games together in the regular season? So injuries are legit for your team. But not for mine. Makes sense.
Well the Celtics weren't the favorites to get to the Finals. The Lakers were. Pretty sure I already mentioned that. Funny you don't understand that.

So you're saying at the start of the season the Celtics and Lakers expectations were exactly the same? The Lakers were favorites to get to the Finals. The Celtics weren't. It's funny you don't understand that. Ya overly homeristic dumbbell.

I didn't say that at all. I only spoke to the Lakers' issues. I don't watch Boston except when they play the Lakers or to root against them in the playoffs, so I don't know or care how their season went.
How is this even a discussion?
Both seasons, regardless of where the teams were predicted to finish, were derailed by injuries. Both are disappointing for that reason, but you also can't exactly call either season a failure. A failure would be if they were completely healthy and didn't live up to expectations. That didn't happen in either case.
Nah. they're both failures. Celtics and Lakers own so many of the available championships that they are always expected to go deeper than the first round, regardless of common sense thinking. Haters need that release to laugh at them, since they won't get the release of actually winning a championship 99% of the time. It will just end up being another team you learn to hate, like Brooklyn. How is this even a discussion?

I'm just having some fun with a Lakers homer. Have you ever noticed he's the one Lakers fans that always loses his shit over many of my Lakers comments? This whole thing started because I said the Lakers were picked to get to the Finals and the Celtics weren't. Am I incorrect in saying that?
This is hilarious. I took your bait to mock you a bit and you take that as me losing my shit. You're not nearly the troll you think you are.
You get pissed at 75% of the Lakers stuff I say. Yet no other purple 'n gold fan overreacts like you. Trigging you is so easy.
No, I respond in turn to jab back. You can't seem to understand that, no matter how many times I remind you.
