I think this will be a lower scoring game...Foles obviously is a capable QB, but he's not Wentz, he could struggle in this game if the ATL DL effective with pressure.

ATL has one of the better secondary units, very good at LB...DL is the question mark. Is Senat (rookie DT) ready? Are Beasley and Takk going to hold up all season? On OFC, everything is in place with the skill positions and they have they have the RG situation straighten out now...but in this game Levitre is no match for the beast Cox and that will kill some of the running game.

Still like the Falcons to scratch out a close win.

The Eagles have looked rusty on offense and with a number of starters out, including Alshon Jeffery as well as Wentz, I think they lose the opener. I obviously hope I am wrong, but if I had to bet--and I did for my office pool--I go Atlanta here.

Hard game for me to pick to be honest because of no Jeffery and his absence can impact the offense a great deal IMO. However, I think the Eagles defense is better today than they were last season and that will be key.

I’m going with Atlanta. No Wentz, No Alshon, an old Peters with no preseason, Foles looking bad this preseason, our stud LBer suspended for the first game, revenge factor and being the hunted.

Most everything pointing towards Atlanta except home field advantage.
