Why? Yes they had ajayi, yes they dont have a true good back. But even when they do, they utilize a three back system. Why waste a high draft pick on someone in a rotation

Maybe, they're looking at Zeke and Barkley and see the 4 down RB has a place on the field. A good full time RB may help to keep Wentz upright.

I suppose but then why not fix leaks on your offensive line if you want to keep him upright or quicker targets.

I can see the reasoning but it just doesn't compute

High like 1st or 2nd? Jacobs is the only RB projected in the 1st. Damien Harris in the 2nd. Two Alabama RB's projected in the top 2 rounds lol. I think you can get guys in the 4th or 5th for steals than waste an early pick on one of those 2 guys or another.

They do need to get back that power running game they had in 17 but drafting one high probably would fail. So many RB's in later rounds that can rotate in plus always a few cheap choices out there. Having multiple backs seems to be working for most of the teams. Zeke and Saquon are special talents. I don't see another guy like that out there.

Yeah. I'm not buying taking Jacob's at 25. If it were me, I'm taking David Montgomery later for my running back. I want Preferably Wilkens or BPA on the board, or possibly trade out of first round to get more picks.

This RB draft is embarrassing. You might see one guy go in the top 50. Maybe 2-3.

Sanders
Love (injury concern?)
Montgomery
Gaskin
Snell
Henderson
Weber

Gaskin and Henderson a little undersized but I think they can be productive, if Love stays healthy

Josh Jacobs? LUL. I would have to imagine they'll draft Cody Ford or Lindstrom to play guard... their priority should be keeping Carson 'Wince' safe. I'd even argue Little is not a bad 1st round pick given Peters is nearing the end of his career and there will be a major hole at LT when he retires.

DE ( Clemson). Most mocks have him off the board much earlier than when we pick. Anyway, my thinking is that the Eagles will go DT or DE at 25, just my opinion. It's been over 32 years since they have taken a running back in the first round. I just don't think this year will be any different.

The Eagles OL is nothing to sneeze at. Their OL is a amongst the best in the NFL.

I think Miles Sanders would be a perfect fit for them in this offense. I really like his upside at the next level. He might not be an immediate 3-down back, but I think he'd instantly win the starting job.

Eagles won the Super Bowl with Peters on IR.
