Eagles won the Super Bowl with Peters on IR.

And the Ravens won with Joe Flacco. What's your point? The Eagles need some offensive line help, Wentz is appearing to be somewhat fragile, and Peters is not going to be around forever and plays a premium position.

Roy I swear... you're like the guy winning a case in court against someone, the Judge mentions the verdict (in your favor), and you're like, "Well technically..." and then can't figure out why everyone is annoyed.

I would be surprised if they took a RB in the first round, though they are said to really like Josh Jacobs. Second round though? I could see it. David Montgomery is who I expect them to take.

Another reach for debate to agitate Eagle fans, they won’t take a back until Montgomery is there in the late 2nd or 3rd

The Eagles OL is nothing to sneeze at. Their OL is a amongst the best in the NFL.

They are good but we were weak at LT and our star RT tore his Achilles and it’s an 8 month recovery. They could use a Guard BIG time. Can we borrow
Martin for a few years?

Probably be another lineman like usual. Deep draft at DT so I wouldn’t be surprised at all.
I just hear them rumored to RB's, and they were in FA as well, usually smoke-fire u know..........i jsut dont see it unless a system change

FYI they do have someone they are developing they are really high on and he’s never played a snap of football on any level and we still drafted him. 6’8 360 and can run his ass off (Rugby player from Australia)

Totally. They haven’t selected a RB in the 1st since Keith Byars but at this moment we have the worst RB situation in the NFL. They need something. Personally I’d like an average Ajayi for a year and Love out of Stanford. He was a projected 1st last year but stayed and lost MILLIONS and got hurt.

Why? Yes they had ajayi, yes they dont have a true good back. But even when they do, they utilize a three back system. Why waste a high draft pick on someone in a rotation

Smoke screen.

Sony Michel worked out and he was a first round pick but I agree... eagles won’t go RB in the first round.

There is some advantage now to drafting a quality RB. All draftees are subject to the rookie wage scale. The shelf life of a RB is not as long as the average NFL player so you get the early years of a RB early for cheap money. Then you move on from them.

Obviously, special RBs such as Gurley, Zeke, Bell, Barkley, etc break that mold but the Pats did just fine letting a guy like Dion Lewis go.

No clue. It’s just the only explanation that seems to make some sense. I don’t think they’re going to draft a RB. Maybe they’ll try to trade up and want people to think they’re targeting a RB.
