I really did not care which one the Eagles had. Both are flawed in the long term.

But, the trade for Bradford was sort of essential in the chase for Murray....kind of a package deal as they are best friends

They figured weakening Dallas by taking Murray/Bradford was better than a stronger dallas with McCoy/Foles.

I've never heard that logic before behind the trade. But personally, I much rather have McCoy in Kelly's system where space and speed thrive. And I also much rather have Foles because he's not only cheaper than Bradford, but is younger and healthier.

Will Bradford even be on the team next season?

McCoy was due a zillion dollars

They get Murray/Bradford/Alonzo for less overall money than it would cost for just McCoy/Foles

They ship McCoy to Buffalo where they wont likely see him that often

ANd they simultaneously take Murray from dallas

I thought it made sense and saved money.

And Alonzo actually has looked good tonight....one of the few bright spots
