Both the Eagles and Bucs wins were totally deserved by the Falcons, they are different with Cousins. They need to work on that D a little but they look like a playoff team.

Last 2 week's are huge for tiebreakers going forward ( same with the Eagles win )

This was the toughest stretch of the schedule as well so getting through it at 3-2 is great. Should set up for 11 wins now assuming health

Id like to see us make a play for Reddick to address the pass rush a bit more but otherwise i feel pretty good about where we are sitting right now

Honestly a great 2 week period for the Falcons. Two close wins really justifies what they've done in the offseason to try and win this year.

they were missing a QB last season. QB play seems to be making a difference.

It’s awesome to see the Falcons have strong QB play again after the disastrous, god awful QB play of the last 2 seasons. It’s why I am fine with both the Penix pick and bringing Cousins in, Penix can be the franchise QB of the future and Cousins is a proven solid QB. We don’t want to get caught in a situation where we don’t have a QB like we did when Matt Ryan left.
This Falcons team feels completely different than last year’s team, and it’s great to have an offense that can pass the ball well after the garbage of the Arthur Smith era.
