Hey, I'll trade one for Shonn Greene and he isn't even on a team. But I'm not trading one for a backup safety.

I couldn't give the Eagles away last year and they were my leading point scorer, I think. I'm pretty sure. Maybe. Seems like they were anyway.

But if we're doing a non official poll, I vote 3.

Wow, 3 and 4 defenses. ..no wonder you guys wanted a 20+ man roster. 14 teams every will likely have 2..that only leaves 4, and those 4...UGLY!!

No to divisions. With 14 teams playing everybody once works best.

Defense limit should be 2, maybe 3. Team defense never retire, so it is a pick you will almost always be on your team, no need for someone (named Smitty) to load up on them.

I don't like maximizing anything... if someone wants to own 5 defenses, so be it... they will have problems with the rest of their bench...

IMO the only reason to have a position max is if there is a limited roster size or its a two QB league.

Thank you for being proactive. Not sure it would be an enjoyable evening if we didnt get going right away. Some people would throw up the "I told you so" nonsense lol

Yeah. Dst max okay...but I wouldn't. But WR/RB absolutely NO max. If I want 9 RB on my bench I should be able to do so. Six? So if I start three, I can only have three on my bench???? No. Not in a dynasty.

And I think the trading deadline is WAY too late. All that will cause is bad trading. Someone out of it can trade for the future and load up playoff teams. This decision (buy or sell) should have to be made before Thanksgiving, IMO.

In rules, under Draft, is "Fill rosters legally when doing auto". Not sure if that would effect your queue or not.

Not really. Trading a pick when you're in the playoffs would not hurt you in the long run...especially when you can keep the player you got in return. Trading a pick when you're trying to make the playoffs is a different animal.

Things happen. If you have to make a trade on a Sat/Sun, or Thursday for that matter, it HAS to go through IMMEDIATELY.

honestly, I don't care either way... But I don't understand why there needs to be... Unless you are worried about collusion... But dynasty is not about winning in one season, it is about being able to build a team that can compete for a period of time... If someone is willing to sacrifice there future, why does it matter when they do this???

Because it could easily lopside every playoff year. Not from collusion. From easy trades. There is a reason there are deadlines in sports.

I like the cutoff to not allow huge swings in momentum based on trades.

Plus a deadline gives teams a time when they will definitively know when they are out of the race and can focus on the future.

I am in a couple keeper leagues... What I hate the most is when a team realizes they need to play for the future and quits too early... not too late... too early has more affect than too late, because the team playing for now will have those better players for longer...
