*8 rounds left!

Here's how things are shaking out, let me know if anyone has some really deep cuts that they like, I seriously don't even care who I end up with at this point

Best value picks imo are Jerome Ford in the 12th and Tyler Conklin in the 21st.

Conklin is going to be a low end TE#1.

Ford could easily be a rb#1. Sure this is dynasty and neither have great outlook past 2024 but if they are what I think they are this season they will have great value. Whether you decide to trade them or not.

A couple ppl told me I sniped them when I took Ford, if I come out the gates slow, I'll fire sale everything and collect as many future picks as I can to build things up around Mahomes, Puka, and Brooks.

I do think Brooks' ceiling is prob a high-end RB2, but he should sit around that value for a few seasons if he gets the Rachaad White role for Canales

Well I assume mcconkey and rice would sit in the first couple weeks for ford and moss.(assuming brooks doesn’t miss time in the beginning of the season which I expect him to).

Rice of course depends on when and how long he gets suspended.

Xavier Gipson and Bo Melton on this swing, I like both guys enough at this point, but will really hope i never have them in my starting lineup unless a couple WRs get injured on either of their teams.

quite the squad overall.

this will be an interesting one as the years go by, determining which of those longshots to hold onto for one more year, or trade them in on the next potential longshots. Never fails we end up cutting bait a year too early on a few and kick ourselves.

Squad looks good. Your strong at starting QBs and WRs and good enough at RB(with a bit of luck with health). Hard to judge a bench that deep but could be good.

Didn't notice any until about round 30, then 4 or 5 guys set a queue and checked out for the end of the draft.

Didn't notice this before the draft but rosters are 30 with 5 man taxi, I thought we kept all 35 then had the taxi on top of that

Still not much of anything left in the FA pool

Every sliver of news in camp will have folks hitting the pool and with such large rosters cutting someone isn't hard. One blip like this say:

QB is doing pass/catching drill with so and so after practice

Will result in a pick up and drop. Not that these will turn out important, but the possibility exists so there will be some churn of the roster.

I'll be going all-in with my $100 FAAB if anyone drops a guy I like. Can't imagine seeing much of interest pop up during the season to motivate majority of the league to burn thru their budget slowly vs all at once

Yup no need to be careful with FAAB in your league as most pickups are a buck or nothing, unless a coveted player becomes available then max bids will happen.

I had to chime in bc I watched Ford all last year. He is a homerun or dud. The Browns realized this and it's why they brought in Foreman. Plus since Chubb is superman he could be ready in the first couple weeks to start the season, obviously not a full workload but I think unless Ford improves he has little to offer. That doesn't mean he won't get opportunities though. The Hines signing was basically for a 3rd down and long back or ST's but I think Foreman does hurt Ford a bit...not enough. In the 12th it's worth a shot but I just think Ford's 4 ypc average is a crock of shit. I hope I am wrong.

I will say the 44 receptions and 5 receiving TD's is nice. In the 12th no problem with it...I just think he is overrated

no doubt he is not the most talented... and once Chubb does come back chubb will be the clear number one...

but the Browns are in a great position for a RB... very good offensive line, very good defense, good enough QB, good enough WRs...

if all RBs were created equal amd used equally, the browns would easily have a top 5 running back...

but Ford is seen to be a low end RB 2 or a flex.... the team by itself should make him a 10+ PPG back...

TBH, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Foreman score equal to, or more, FP per game than Ford, regardless of format.

Ford's pedestrian 4.0 YPC and lack of TD's don't exactly inspire confidence. And the little run they made under Flacco, with competent QB play, were arguably his worst games of the year.

Foreman's YPC has only been lower than 4.2 once, and that was the debacle in Chicago last year. and to be fair, you take away his ridiculous 6 for -6 line in his final game, and that YPC jumps from 3.9 to 4.18. And he scored the same amount of TD's in 105 less carries. It won't take long for him to prove himself superior to Ford.

Question: this is a SF dynasty, I want to keep Jordan Travis stashed, but since he's currently on IR I ended up filling my taxi squad with RBs.

Taxi squad rules:
Locks in for the season at kickoff TNF

Only rookies allowed to go on, but they can stay on indefinitely once they are there (like this part for Travis)

Have to clear roster spot to pull anyone off during the season

They can't go back on taxi after coming off

**Should I cut one of these guys to make room for Travis on taxi vs hoping he stays on IR all year AND I'd have a roster spot for him next off season since he can't go to taxi after being on IR

Current taxi:
