its Dynasty should be at least 20...

the fact we are 14 teams shrinks it down and we do not do IDP with that said those leagues usually have 30+

thus we should have at least 20

this .....dynasty should have bigggggggggg rosters
I don't think I agree at all, what is the reasoning behind having such big rosters? Seems to me smaller would create more of a challenge in season. "Do I want to hang onto to this rookie who might be good on a couple years, or do I drop him so I can field a full, active team this week?" Having 30+ spots to choose from completely eliminates this.
Interested to hear the why for these big rosters

I agree.

20 seems like a good number.

I'd vote for 20 a nice round number. Next order of business would be to determine the draft date. Do we make itr a early draft along the lines of the suicide draft or do wait till the season is near.

I would say earlier than normal drafts, but not as early as the Suicide.

Another thing is which platform?
Yahoo
ESPN
Fantrax

I was actually going to try and make it a slow draft on the site we use(if possible). Thinkig of using Fantrax as it offers nice options.

As for other topics to talk about, I will be making threads devoted to each topic. First one will be about roster size. Give me a few to get it started.

I guarantee Fantrax have the best flexibility.

Yahoo is not even an option, IMO.

Never used fantrax. Like the idea of going with what I'm use to, ESPN. Use Yahoo also, but find ESPN better. What does everyone else think?

I don't think we need a bunch of different threads. Seems easier to hash it out here.

14 team
20 man rosters
QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, DST, K (Flex is RB/WR/TE)

Are we all agreed to this?

I've gotta vote Fantrax. ESPN would be my second choice.

Harold, if you get a chance, take a look at Fantrax. It's a great site.

I dunno about agreed to, but I sure haven't heard much opposition..from those of us who are responding and inputting I'd say a majority have agreed, or given their indifference.

fantrax would be my first choice as well...but ESPN would do just as nicely. Yahoo blows

I just think there's a lot going on in this thread. If I create separate threads, we can settle each topic there. We have plenty of time to get this hashed out.

Might be time to broaden my horizons. I'd be willing to go Fantrax.

I really liked ESPN too(still do), but Fantrax has been great for both football and baseball.
Sounds good. Main reason for me is I know how ESPN works, never been on fantrax, but theirs a first time for everything.

I say we do a slow draft as well. I know the fellows are getting ready to do the coma league slow draft why dont we set the draft tentatively for maybe a few days after the coma draft concludes. Just a thought.

I honestly have no preference in a one day draft vs a slow draft here. .but I sure don't want it started before August
