Guys are we doing Dynasty or keeper league there are major differences


rosters should be 20-to 30 deep however most Dynasty Leagues are 12 team 3 division

seeing we are 14 teams then Rosters should be closer to the 20 end than the 30 end

How it could work and this is kind of how we do it in my other league but it idp so i will adjust it and its proven to be so much fun cause you make trades during the off season. the fun never ends. Anyway If we keep this set:

2 RB
3 WR
1 TE
1 K
1 DEF

Then we have say 10 bench guys some of which we are nurturing hoping to turn into something. So that would be 19 guys. After the season we have to throw back 5. Then the draft would be last place picks first and the champ picks last. It would be a non snake draft 1 through 14. then back to 1 again just like the nfl draft. You'll find that the first 3 rounds will most likely be all rookies as everyone will be trying to find a new stud like ODBjr. You will really come to value the NFL draft even more than you all ready do and your research will never end because you'll be analyzing rookies in the off season. tru fun!

I'm in both keepers and dynasty leagues. Keeper to me, is keeping 1-5 guys, 5 beig the most I've ever kept in what I consider a keeper league.

Dynasty IMO means u keep the majority of ur roster, but not all as u will draft for replacements.

Although I would like to weigh out the 3rd WR vs Flex.

and i like TKO and Ram i think say 2wr 1 flex works also gves people a choice ps 3Wr is good too

i think once the Roster and Keeper body counts are set we should vote on 3WR or 2 and flex

somehow we need to have a direction im going to pm Micro later tonight and offer up my help

Okay. .my input on what I've been seeing discussed recently. .
I've been expecting a full dynasty from jump, .ands this REALLY needs to get settled before we get much further...because a keeper league just isn't the same sort of appeal to me.

Is the entire roster going to be kept? My vote is yes. We'll have to make hard decisions on who to dump to make room for any rookies.

Are we doing the "rule5/supplemental" or not? Again my vote is yes, and if so, there needs to be a set number of protected players, and #of rounds.

As to the roster, I'm with OBX, and and those who've already agreed with him

I thought the Dynasty/Keeper issue had been settled. Just a matter of full dynasty or 80% Dynasty.

Rule 5 draft I like, but the rules need to be hashed out.

Points. I like Basic

Roster. 18, 19, or 20 I can deal with.

I think we should take one issue at a time and figure out what the majority wants. Once that issue is settled, then move on to the next issue. If we (and I have been guilty of this) keep looking at all the issues at the same time, we will never have any ground rules.
