My 3-4-5 options are very, very Milkian. (To the point I confuse myself a bit) So if you've got a couple ideas for other ways to increase parody year to year (and I know you do) let's hear em.

Personally, I'm in favor of Option 2. I'd like to see us have a number of rostered guys who we can't protect. Would be good drama waiting and watching on if a guy makes it thru. Then there also is the quasiRule5 aspect that would/could sway guys from reaching for potential over proven commodities.

OK... How about a scattered amount of UN protected players...

some variation of this(don't know exact since I don't know how many owners we will have or roster size)

16th place to 10th place- Must send 5 players into the rule 5 draft
9- last team that did not make the playoffs- Must send 7 players into the draft
all playoff teams except the champion must send 9 players into the draft
Champion must send 10 players into the draft

there can not be any more than 3 players taken from any team...
3 round draft...
Draft order would be a non snake based on POINTS, last place in points get first pick...

I have a fun trade proposal rule... Again, I am expecting this to be rejected, but it came to me and I said "OOOH this could be fun"

a trade is made- all other owners have 24 hours to better the trade for one of the original traders... If another owner betters the deal(has to have the same players from the original person in the trade) then the owner now has a choice on what trade to FINALIZE... And Must choose one of them, the default is the original trade...

For example- Chef trades Shady McCoy to Foot for Dez Bryant and Tre Mason...
But Milk really wanted Bryant, he could offer Foot Adrian Peterson for Dez Bryant and Tre mason...

then foot can decide which trade he would rather accept...

It would be called the TRADE BUMP rule... And what this rule does(besides complicates everything), now no owner can say well I WOULD have given you more...

Don't like this one at all.

What are thoughts on QB points? I really think 50 yards passing per point is a much better indicator for proper value.

I just don't think 200 yards and 2 TD is worth 20 points. 300 and 2

I do agree to an extent... But I also believe at a point all long term keeper/dynasty leagues should change their rules to an extent... when leagues stay the same for a long time, they get boring and will also lose interest and owners...

So I am not opposed to starting the league with a more traditional league setup, but we should constantly be looking to change...

It seems like most of you guys went against MILKSPILLER the awesome, and voted for micro... All that does is creates a new enemy for me to beat mercilessly in fantasy... Watch out... I am already trashtalking against all you people...

But seriously, congrats Micro...

1. Know who is in the league and who will bow out
2. Starting roster size and # of bench
3. Scoring rules
4. how many keepers
5. other dynasty league setup(expansion rules, and rules in place for owners who leave the league in the future)

Until we know how many owners we are going to go with, doing the roster size will be difficult...



as for QB, I would say 30 points per yard sounds good... But i would also want to make an interception -3 instead of -2... there is other things i would like to do to QBs but i am hesitant to mention them...

Milk poo poo a poll earlier. However seeing how we still haven't decided on the number of owners, I think we should just do a poll with a time limit to vote. Need to get this issue out of the way, so we can move on to the next.
