I don't mind Milk's rules as much as I'm wary that he will take 3 months to make up his mind...no offense Milk, I think that's a fair concern.
It's a very fair concern, and im sure Milk would agree. Don't get me wrong, Milk's a great owner, passionate, active, you'll never have to worry about him letting a team die, couldn't ask for more. But the propensity to never let well enough alone would be maddening and almost assuredly lead to some owners leaving the league and their teams, which in a dynasty, is a death sentence to the league

Micro or Milk would make good Commissioner. I am just happy we have two highly qualified who want the job. We should get going though. Micro was the first to step forward if that counts for anything.

By my count we've got about 8-3 Micro...as Dennis Green would say, "you wanna crown him, than crown him!"

Let's anoint Micro, give Milk co-commish authority, a tie breaker vote, whatever. .
and move on to the next item up for bids

I do agree to an extent... But I also believe at a point all long term keeper/dynasty leagues should change their rules to an extent... when leagues stay the same for a long time, they get boring and will also lose interest and owners...

So I am not opposed to starting the league with a more traditional league setup, but we should constantly be looking to change...

It seems like most of you guys went against MILKSPILLER the awesome, and voted for micro... All that does is creates a new enemy for me to beat mercilessly in fantasy... Watch out... I am already trashtalking against all you people...

But seriously, congrats Micro...

the next steps
1. Know who is in the league and who will bow out
2. Starting roster size and # of bench
3. Scoring rules
4. how many keepers
5. other dynasty league setup(expansion rules, and rules in place for owners who leave the league in the future)

And I'd agree to that, also to a certain extent. Redraft leagues, change is easy. But building a dynasty, anything more than a minor tweak here or there could drastically affect what you've been trying to build. ..gonna have a bad time

I vote completely dynasty. Keep all players but have a set roster limit and have a firm deadline to announce the players that you want to keep, which determines how many picks you get.

I know seems obvious but I just want it out there.

I'm pro-complete dynasty.

But wouldn't mind the equivalent of a Rule5 draft, prior to the incoming player draft.

Have a set number of players we can "protect" the rest exposed to a draft. .if they don't get drafted, you still own them.

Not sure I like it, but it's interesting

interesting...that would leave room for some parity
