I think he stays. They got 1 win away from the Finals and that is with Westbrook shooting like shit for 5 games against an all-time great team. Honestly, most people didn't give them a shot against the Spurs so going into the playoffs this season could be a success at some levels. Some players are great but they just can't get over the hump and win a title. Moving to the East isn't going to help. Lebron will be there waiting for the next 3 or 4 years. The team around him isn't getting any better somewhere else. I think people are overreacting.

Signs a 1 and 1 in OKC then bolts with Westbrook to the Lakers in 2017.

Here's a thought. I think most agree that a big part of why OKC ultimately lost that series to GSW is because they lacked depth.

Does Durant wait awhile to see what the FO does to get some more depth before deciding whether or not he's going to stay?

Lebron's not getting better at this juncture. At some point he won't be the player that he is anymore. I'd rather be in the East because you really have to worry about the Cavs and that's it. In the West if you're Durant, there's the Spurs, Warriors, and Clippers. If the Trailblazers add anyone of significance, then you can factor them in as well.

We'll have 3 with Shaq next year (Hardaway and Mourning the other 2). That's impressive.

That's cool they're retiring Shaq's #. Of course D. Wade is an automatic but do you think they'll retire Haslam's # @ some point?

I think so. He was part of 3 Heat championships, and was a pretty significant cog in the 06 title. Also, he's currently the rebounding leader in franchise history for the time being. But yeah, Wade's an obvious one. But you guys have 20 now, that's ridiculous. You'd have to figure that Pierce will be there soon. Not sure about KG and Ray.

I think they should retire his #. He's spent his entire career w/ the Heat. No doubt Pierce will get his # retired. As far as KG & Ray, not so sure.

KD would look damn good in Celtic green. Doubt that actually happens though.

I dunno, I always though that pea-green uni was kinda putrid...

course I guess there's a use for it if I ever run outta toilet paper...:heh:

How is Sob City going to afford him?

It's actually not hard, given all the open cap space around the NBA.

Either trade JJ, #25 with Pierce...renounce Green, Baby Doc to sign him outright....

Or

Trade Blake.

I'd gladly part with Blake for Durant if Kevin is willing.
