I can see Lakob taking a hundred million hit one time to break in that arena (and project to break even based on last year's Forbes valuation) but that's a lot of cash to give up to maintain a franchise that's probably going to peak either way with or without the 4 intact

I agree with that.

And I think taking a full max deal somewhere is what he should do.

But, the injury brings the player option back into play if he decides he would rather be a free agent next summer.
Definitely a tough call for him and teams who might be interested. Guess all depends what he or they know about extent of injury and recovery.

Give what? Do you mean a supermax this off season?

If so, which four teams you think those may be?
pretty sure only one can offer supermax (GS), but agree a few might offer max.

Yes... (LOL) pretty much this... (LOL) ....give another supermax to Thompson too... (LOL) ...and then call your duddy to pay the bill with your... pocket money!

I really wonder what kind of stuff you spend your pocket money on...

I don't think Klay is eligible for SuperMax since he didn't make the all NBA

Biggest injury in the history of the league? With the timing and all would be hard to argue against that.

typical sackless Tlance....from zero to somewhere higher than zero. always afraid to make an ACTUAL prediction- always hedging and obfuscating and saying something that actually means nothing.

care to speculate?

I say it was 0.00 before he got injured that he would pick up that option and its 00.5% that he picks up that option now. 1/200 odds.
Huh? I thought that was one of his more reasonable comments. Seems more likely from him is an extreme answer

Typical asshole Wiggy.

Interesting that your buddy @dtgold88 calls me "extreme guy" because I state my opinions too strongly, and you say I have no balls.

Maybe you two should coordinate a little better.

There is no prediction to be made here on odds. Whatever odds you want to set you can't be proven wrong unless you pick 100% or 0%.

I don't think KD should take the player option. But I do think it is a possibilty he will consider.
I even pointed this out. I get you are used to many supporting you based on you and not the comments, but that's not my thing, so not sure why I need to coordinate with wiggy. My replies are based on post and not poster.

And I agree.....wishy washy is not you.

Roosvelt Bouie's continuous injuries are the league's saddest story for what possibly was the biggest basketball talent ever... (Giannis before Giannis)

I've read multiple articles to the contrary

It's about six million a year less

He is eligible to a supermax for the 19/20 season, which starts July the 1st...

Did you miss the "few others" part?

Maybe Bucks would take him and stash him, but doubt they'd be willing to move snell in their sign and trade, right?

You said GS supermax, a few others max... I particularly liked the supermsax part... Some more "Einsteins" suggested the same...

Why's that? KD is eligible for a supermax from GS and very possible it's offered.

Not possible? A sign and trade for him to Bucks with Snell coming back to GS (even if he was 100% healthy).

Did you read the financial report above? It is suicidal for GSW if they sign him on a supermax.... they'll pay some 350M insalaries and taxation.
