Giants picked up a pair of minor league pitchers recently:
Haley was released from his team in Korea to make room for Mac Williamson.

Logan Webb tonight, 6 IP, 5 h, 2 ER, 0 BB, 6K

Fargas (game 1) 2-3, run, SB (44)

In San Jose, Matt Frisbee, 7 IP, 6 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 11 K

For Giants Orange, Najee Gaskins (20th Round, 2019) is hitting .389 with a .522 OBP. He is 18-20 in stolen base opportunities.

In Memphis, Sacramento's Dubon was 2-4 with 2 runs scored. Davis continued his hot streak with 2-3, 2 runs, and a walk. (Now hitting .588 with a 1.785 OPS, sss I know)

Why not bring Davis up with people hurt? Sounded like DigDug hurt his shoulder diving for a ball today.

Davis has been getting a lot of pub as one of the focus prospects who we got. Giving him the shot is a distinct posibility

They've got an open spot on the 40 man roster but Travis Bergen is only a week away from having to be activated (unless he suddenly has a set back like he did toward the very end of his first rehab assignment).

We here pretty much put Ramos, Bart, Luciano and Bishop in their own tier, with everyone else battling for placement after them.

But should we be placing Hjelle in this tier as well? Is he THAT legit??

So far in San Jose (in a hitters' league), he's been legit. I assume he zooms through AA, and begins next year at AAA, where the real test begins.

The days of being in the minors for 5-6 years to "develop" just might be over.

No, but I think he's safely in the tier right below them. Good enough to stand out among his peers, but there's not enough to his game for him to be a front-line guy, and to be considered to be a part of the group ahead of him, he'd have to be Ace-status (which is more of a testament to how good the LRBB group is rather than a knock on Hjelly, because he looks to be a real solid 3rd starter).

Hey, Richmond has an airport. You can take Cal's helicopter. I'm sure he won't mind.
You may have forgotten that cal spent all his money on the helicopter pad at his mansion and forgot to budget for the actual helicopter. It seems that living close to the Padres has worn off on him.

And forget about footing for enough fuel to take off, let alone go cross country.

Bit of advice for you guys... don’t have a hell-pad installed on a .25 acre property. Not smart.

Maybe PortugueseWaterDog or whatever his alt was still has his jet at Palo Alto Muni. Surely, he would allow you to "borrow" his Lear Jet.
