I was underlining the difference between "this season and next" and "the next couple seasons". You know, 4th-grade English ;)

Or maybe 4th grade reading comprehension and critical thinking. :comeatmebro:

In all seriousness, making my statement as if I were Giants FO, knowing I have to pay him 20 mil per FOR THIS SEASON AND NEXT, I would probably give him a bit more rope to figure things out then Peavy. That was my original intention.

Too bad Augusta was called. Santos was dealing.

Shaw is just crushing the ball. He's slow as shit and isn't a great 1st baseman yet, but that dude can hit the ball.

I really think Shaw is a super solid legit prospect. But if he is a moderate fielding 1B only, he will be trade fodder. Maybe as soon as this year to net another SP.

Just saw that on Sunday, Parker had 3 bombs for Sacto. He has really been struggling this year, so hopefully this wakes him up.

He's too slow footed to play LF unfortunately. I guess if our fears are realized, he could be our DH one day...

Shaw is putting up some major numbers in this young season. I hope he has a Belt-like breakout so his stock can be high so we get a big return when we trade him.

Excellent! I especially like the TBD kid. He never ages, and is ready to go on a moment's notice.

I just got home from Lake Tahoe, and saw the Giants are in Stockton tonight. So I am heading back on the road to Stockton to see Suarez pitch.

edit: Suarez did not disappoint. 7 strong innings, one earned run, a homer by Danny Valencia who is on a rehab assignment from the Oakland A's. Suarez was sitting at 87-89 most of the evening, and his curve looked lethal.

Vizcaino made two throwing errors from 3rd (not sure if that is his preferred position. He has the glove for it, but not the arm.) Moronta came in for the 8th and was throwing 96. Martinez mopped up in the the 9th. Good game.

If PV has started and shit all over 5-7 starts already, surely we can give Heston a small bit of rope to get himself back into routine of starting pitching.

Sure. But he won't be starting against Toronto on Monday.
