When an LB tackles an RB after a 5 yard gain on 1st and 10, half these LBs seem to jump up and bark. That's ghey, but it seems to be acceptable.

I don't know where the line should be drawn, but there seems to be a lot of ghey these days, yet fans seem to enjoy the ghey.

Is there a stadium that doesn't do this? I know the Pats do it.

OU celebrates everything.

Touchdown, Band plays Boomer Sooner.
Field Goal, Band plays Boomer Sooner.
First down, Band plays Boomer Sooner.
Tackle, Band plays Boomer Sooner.
Time out, Band plays Boomer Sooner.

Even if we have a turnover fuck the other team, our band plays Boomer Sooner!

First time I ever heard it was K-State when Snyder first took over. I was like WTF...then I remembered K-State never had any wins to celebrate to speak of so I guess it was the only thing K-State had to cheer for.

What do you mean celebrate first downs? The PA at Cards games will say something along the lines of "Ellington carries for a gain of five yards and a Cardinals FIRRRRST DOOOOWN!" Is that over the top or wrong? I there something wrong with a PA emphasizing the team picking up a first down? I think every team in the league does something like that. It appears to me, the only thing ghey is this thread.

The fact that some teams prefer to play their games indoors seems pathetic to me.

when the PA announces...."another (insert team) FIRST DOWN!!!" expecting the whole crowd to shout first down...its ghey. you celebrate your little moral victories , ill celebrate when it is warranted like touchdowns or big plays.

I know a lot of stadiums do it. In Denver they don't, but the PA announcer sets up the fans to yell IN-COM-PLETE after the visiting qb throws an incompletion.

Sorry NE fans, but the Ram Rules is the gheyest thing man ever made.
It's not even close.
I don't see myself as a violent person, but whenever I see the RR video, I wish to inflict pain on every person affiliated with that vid.

I don't think anybody expects the crowd to do anything. The crowd just does it because a first down keeps the drive alive. Part of the live NFL experience is keeping the fans hyped. It has nothing to do with moral victories.

Is it warranted to celebrate winning the opening coin toss? I know most NFL teams do that as well. Or, according to you, is that considered a big play?
