Thanks for posting the data. Taking the above numbers Martin is clearly much much better than Murphy's arm; Cruz is off the charts and also off the team right now, so Martin and Gentry are our best arms. So by the previous arguments, when considering the "numbers" Martin should have been in RF instead of Murph last night barring any other comparisons to E. Beltre. But as I presented Wash probably did not go "with the numbers" last night and used his "gut" to make the decision based on the youth and inexperience of E. Beltre at the MLB level.

Well we won, and it was a failed experiment, as Murphy did not look comfortable at all in RF, so no harm and learn from your mistakes

If anyone thinks Murphy could've ever made either of those throws in a hundred attempts their opinions on baseball should be considered invalid from now on.

For most parts it was just an opinionated baseball decision, and I acknowledged it as such

I remain of the opinion that those three throws from where they were thrown are plays that don't happen when runners respect the guy making the play in the field. Every LFer in MLB must be able to make those throws or else nobody will ever stop running on them. In these cases ... "even a blind squirrel ..."

Flash player is always crashing on me and from what I read it has more to do with using 32 bit browser (firefox) on a 64 bit system. Hell, there might even be a 64 bit firefox now but I haven't checked.

I am using IE. All I do is copy the link (not the embed info) and paste it in the text box. Then you can see if it works by using the preview post function. I posted the DM pitching link.
