AGAIN, name the free agents the Lakers were supposed to sign last summer that would've made all this difference once George, Durant, and trading for Kawhi were off the table. It's easy to say they should've done better without naming any players were actually available via free agency at the time.
Yep.

They signed zero shooters and guys that didn't fit. The only good signing was McGee you could say. Not to mention all the mistakes they made pre-Lebron, that is a different topic though. Awful job by the F.O.

Rondo was OK. What shooters were available that were good enough to take minutes away from developing Ball/Ingram/Kuzma etc?

So, no names that they missed on. Typical response.

Brook Lopez, Marco Belinelli, Omri Casspi, Pat Connaughton, Seth Curry, Ed Davis, Wayne Ellingotn, Channing Frye, Jeff Green, Rodney hood offer sheet would have been a HELLUA lot better than KCP and probably owuld have done th trick, Mbah Moute, Tony Parker, JULIUS RANDLE, JJ Redick, Derrikc Rose, Nik Stauskas

Point is, he had nothing to work with, it isn't his fault. I can see how he got frustrated at times, he used to make the Finals every year
He had nothing to work with is total BS.

They were the 4 seed and would have made the playoffs if not for the wave of injuries they endured.

I mean, in the entirety of LeBron's career--- Miami and Clevleand had a formula---- find guys that have good character and can shoot the ball.

the Lakers...hmmm...instead of finding guys that have good character, are good team guys and can shoot, what if we sign a bunch of guys that cant shoot worth shit and are historical nut jobs? What do you think Luke? (Luke screaming in the bathroom by himself)

Yet you rip Ball's FT % when he only attempted 1.2 per game? LOL

Hypocrite.

Now, narrow that down to who was actually available and/or made sense. Redick was not leaving the Sixers for a one year deal. KCP was part of the package deal for Lebron (and Hood SUCKED for the Cavs), they let Lopez and Frye go intentionally, Rondo was a better signing than Parker, Stauskas ended up on the scrap heap, Ed Davis is just a rebounder and not better than McGee, Mbah Moute LOL, Jeff Green LOL. Randle wanted out. So, we're down to guys like Belinelli, Casspi, Connaughton, Curry, Ellington, and maybe Rose (who ended up missing 30+ games). Curry and Connaughton ended up blowing up, would've been solid moves. The others? Meh.

Even the choices that had good years would only have looked good in retrospect; had the Lakers' choices to surround Lebron been Connaughton and Ellington, everyone would've laughed and said the Lakers were settling for lesser talent.

id tend to look at both of their CAREER numbers. the WHOLE sample size instead of a very small one

and though Ball does have a smal lsample size on the pro level (due to the fact that he sucks balls at shooting and has been injured) its no secret that his shot is more broken then your dick with no viagra.
