same price, no biggie.

they charge by the racquet to demo though.

Tennis Warehouse had a flat fee of $25 for up to 4 racquets for a week. That's a better deal for me.

TW has a much larger selection then all of them. Holabird is the only one that comes close. You can also find additional gear on the TW Europe site. There are some things only sold there and not in the US and vice-versa.

I think I asked this a few years ago. But I'll ask again anyways.

What's the best way to find someone random to play with, for a one-off match? If it's fun, then maybe I'd do it more frequently, but if not, then no big deal.

Is there a site or app that's good for that?

Assuming I could find someone at a similar skill level (someone who doesn't play very much).

You might want to try using an app like Meetup, Opensport, etc. I've never used any, so I don't know how effective they are, but worth a shot maybe.

well all the racquets I tried were in the 300-305 weight range, mostly head-light, meaning more of the weight is in the handle.

I like a more open string pattern, so the 16x19 works for me as it helps me generate more spin on the ball.

but really I just liked the feel of it in the end. I felt the ball was coming off the racquet better than the others and I liked how well I could control the ball.

my other top choice was the Wilson Ultra Countervail, which was nice, but in the end I went with the Babolat. Either would have been fine, I think.

a lighter racquet has a bunch of obvious advantages, but if you are looking at swingweight, it rates how it feels swinging the racquet. A higher swingweight gives you more plowthrough.

here, this helps...another reason I like tennis-warehouse best.

if you want to hit a flatter ball, then a denser string pattern (18x20) would be more for you. That would likely fit your swing style more.
