Slice more like it. Spin just puts pressure on the return but is straightforward, and kick is just plain high. What type of a serve was it? Spin, kick?
How come you don't post in any of the threads about the Majors?
he had spin on it. He was a fan of hitting his serves into the netting along the side of the courts. It was a pain in the ass. What type of a serve was it? Spin, kick?

That reminds me of a serve my friend had. He called it the [insert his last name] Special.

he had me stretched out, that's for sure. You have good form there at least.
Try to stand at the baseline while receiving unless he is serving real fast. That adds intimidation factor and puts pressure on his serve. Is he much taller than you?he had me stretched out, that's for sure.
I was able to pick off most of his wide serves, but I should have moved up in the box and attacked them before the net became a problem.
the baseline or the service line? Standing on the baseline is the norm for me.Try to stand at the baseline while receiving unless he is serving real fast. That adds intimidation factor and puts pressure on his serve. Is he much taller than you?

probably a little taller. I see this guy maybe once a year at districts or sectionals. He plays in DC.
Not likely. And I have a pretty good feel for it already. He's a bit of a junk baller. I'll hopefully get him next time. Can you play him more often, in non-tourneys? So you can get a feel for his game?
Often times it’s guys that you don’t get a chance to hit with much to get a better feel for their game that beat you. And of course they don’t like serving to you so you are receiving other than when the actual match is going on. So you don’t get a feel for their serveCan you play him more often, in non-tourneys?
