If you don't like the way the Big Ten officials call the game, why do you mandate that we use them when we play the Big Ten teams? You make us use your referees, and then bitch about the calls they make. OK, what if we just use the parents of the Michigan players as referees in this year's game.

When you have the best defense in the country and you're playing the way they were toward the end of the season, there's no reason not to believe they couldn't have, but I don't know why he feels like saying coulda shoulda woulda at this point. It's petty.

He isn't badmouthing FSU, he's just saying he believes they could have beaten anyone in the country at the end of the season. Good for him, that's how a coach should think. He isn't saying that FSU isn't the rightful champion or that they shouldn't have been there, he's just saying that he thinks his team would have beaten any team in the country at the end of the season.

I don't have an issue with him saying it they were playing as strong as anyone and lets face it Michigan State isn't in position to play for the NC often so I get the frustration.

In fact if the NCAA had found problems with Winston's eligibility (which they did not and I am not suggesting the should have) and stripped FSU I would be strongly in favor of MSU being awarded the NC.

However in a playoff situation it would have been brutal to play most likely Alabama then FSU. I don't think any team in the country can stand up and say I know without a doubt we would have won it.
