I am with you 1000%. Obviously if there is this really crazy obscure situation in a game where the bunt would make sense to make tie or walk it off and less than 2 outs then maybe you can consider it but beyond that you let your good hitters and hitters with a track record hit.

Exactly...your leadoff hitter who's .361 with RISP should be swinging the bat in that situation. He got a good pitch to hit, and usually he'll drive that into the outfield.
