I understand what you are saying, but I'm pretty confident they could at least lock him up for what Rios would cost the next two seasons and for me Pence is a better player. Rios does have more speed though. Still, with SF not really saying he is on the trading block, it might take more than he is worth to get them interested.

Yeah, I guess that predicting a low score isn't exactly going out on a limb. Kuroda has been outstanding this year and Holland is certainly capable of shutting down any team. Add to that that neither team has been hitting particuarly well lately and a low score seems like only prediction. Then again, it is baseball, so one never really knows for sure.

He does have a history of really pitching well in his home town.

Kind of a pleasant surprise that Gardner is out of the lineup. He's been playing really well, he hits LHP, and Dutchy sometimes has his troubles with lefties.

Easy to second guess lineups. Elvis looks to me like he's poised to breakout, so I don't mind seeing him hit second. Still, Kuroda is particularly tough on right-handers. Love to see one of the youngsters, Martin or Profar, get it going today.

Definitely hurts to see Davis hitting for the O's like he has since around the middle of last year. At the same time, it's not as if he didn't have his chances in TX. Good example of how different it is to evaluate decision ex post than it is ex ante, since I don't recall many predicting that Davis would do what he's done at the time he was traded.
