Well, do you really see the bottom of the Rangers' order giving Rivera any trouble?
I don't :/

Not likely but this is baseball and anything can happen.

OAK scores two in top of 8th and Rangers give up 2 in top of 9th. This is how things have been going. It sucks. I would rather that Soria pitched tonight BUT I do not fault Wash for putting Nathan in. Wash would have been a goat if Soria had blown it for sure. Last night Nathan pitched a tough 9th and I was especially worried about tonight with a single run lead but again I give Wash a pass I guess.

A strike zone can vary a little from game to game even with a same umpire and you know that.

Varying a little is entirely different than having a completely unique strike zone. There are umpires who refuse to call either low or high strikes even though the rule book says they should. And you SHOULD know that.

Not really worried about Oakland. They'll be within striking distance the rest of the season. Texas just needs to take care of its own business.

There is a book but every umpire has their own variation and perception of it. That's baseball.

Hey Wash: When your stud closer is getting squeezed like no other maybe grow a pair and come a bit unglued. Defend your guy you "players" manager. What a joke.

We have a fairly soft schedule in the second half but Oakland's is even weaker, even if Colon gets suspended their pitching wins them the division
