Apparently you don't. In a very limited 17 plate appearances Beltre has hit .294. Obviously that's not enough to say much, but the fact is if you're going to say he's overmatched in such a limited number of opportunities you might wanna see if he's been hitting. .294 says he has.

I was only questioning Romeo that although Baker sucks against righties, Gentry has been even worse.
If we're going to Beltre, I would agree with him that he's hitting the ball better than Baker against RHP.

In fact Beltre is .333 against RHP.

Baker is primarily and infielder who hits lhp very well. Therefore, Beltre would be a better choice to play of bc he is an outfielder w/more speed than Baker. imo

Also says Beltre has been overmatched and he'd take baker vs rhp too.

Then he gets mad when someone shows him the facts that he's clearly wrong and says something like, "nobody can disagree with Romeo." This is a message board. If you're going to make a statement be prepared to defend of explain it, but don't get mad when you're proven wrong.

His BA will drop a lot if he doesn't produce tonight with the limited PA. I'm not putting to much stock in BA with 17 PA. He has spayed some hits, but I'm not fan

Exactly. In no way am I saying he's going to be lights out, but there's nothing to justify he's being "overmatched" either.

However, Baker's sample vs. righties is much larger.... and at .231.
and his defense isnt that great for a .231 average.

I really dont see what the argument here is.

I think you mis-interpreted. I was trying to predict what he will do. I was just saying we'll see where he's at. I would bet he won't be near .290 though.
