He's just saying that to get the fans on his side. If I were him, I'd be going for the starting spot
If Dalton gets a chance, make not he will do everything he can to win and keep the QB1 spot

Yes he did. The Bengals screwed him out of potential deals while other deals happened. Didn't cut him early on when they should have and then weren't willing to budge on potential deals. Cut him after the draft and most of the deals were already done. Made more sense for Andy to sign a one year deal and re enter the market at the beginning of the next season. Also, Andy is from the area and with the coronavirus, Andy noted that it would be an easy gig for him travel wise in an uncertain season. He can basically sit on the bench for one year while getting paid and get practice reps and re enter a fresh market. No, Dalton didn't get any interest from teams that needed a QB1. Once he knew that he is only QB2 talent at this point in his career, he picked the team that has the best chance at winning.

Two things. You know as well as I do that if Dak hits a slump, Jarrah is putting Dalton in....Good news is, Dalton reads the D better and throws as good or better and just may be their ticket into the post season this year....
Two things.
1. Dak will nearly have to have his leg amputated for Jerry to call for his benching, especially if he does sign a new contract.
2. I don't see Dak laying an egg.
Again, 1. Most see Jerry as one who lets contracts decides who plays. 2. Aside from 1/2 of one season Dak has shown he's amongst the best QB's.It's the NFL, and you never can tell.....

His performance on the field says you're wrong add that into the fact you were pushing Flacco over Lamar, tells me you aren't all that keen when it come to QBDak hasn't gotten the big contract yet has he ?....I would say he is an adequate qb but certainly not among the best in the NFL....The only place I think he has an advantage on Dalton is his ability to run and scramble to extend plays...Dalton gets the ball out quicker and if he has an oline he would do well in the big D....
Good thing is you got 2 qb's that could get you to the playoffs, bad news is neither have done well once they got there....Good luck this year, I wouldn't mind seeing Jarrah make the SB this year...
I might even root for him unless it's us they're playing....
8 Ball has to learn how to win a post season game too though....

You think Dak is going to hold out? Not sign the franchise tag? Because that's the only way Dalton starts short of injury.View attachment 242594
If this is true, Dalton is not only a threat, but he's probably my starter moving forward. What a fucking joke.
