I hope so, and quickly. If Jerry caves to 4 years I say do it at a reduced salary and guaranteed $$$.
You have a severe lack of reading comprehension.I agree, it seems like Dak is insistent on a 5 year deal.
A good running line isn’t necessarily a good pass blocking line. It's a tricky one. If it means paying Dalton $15M per vs. paying $30M per (or something) for Dak.... eh.... MOST QBs would be rivaling Dak's stats given the offense he's in. Top 5 OL, top 5 RB, good WR weapons and they just added Lamb. LOL, hell I could throw for 1,000 yards and a couple TDs with that and I've never played organized football.
Either way Cowboys are the clear winners. There's a good chance due to COVID that the cap is going to take a massive hit next year due to decreased league funding. No team will be able to pay Dak what he wants lol. Dalton is a GREAT insurance policy if Dak is going to sit for a year.
Andy is clearly the better QB, just check the stats
Dak wants a 4 year deal while the Cowboys want a 5 year deal.Dak wants in on that money that comes from the new TV deal in 2022. A long deal hurts Dak. The CAP will go way up with the new TV deal and who can fault Dak for that? He has made peanuts from a salary point, but is raking it in with endorsements. Cowboys need to get this deal done
This will hurt mrschaney's feelings.I just did and you might want to look up the word clearly. Dak smokes him in every category but TDs , so in 100 games he threw 1 more TD
Andy 238 ypg 1.53 tds pg .89 int pg 62% comp 87.5 rating
Dak 247 1.52 .56 97% 97.0

Took you long enough.Dak wants a 4 year deal while the Cowboys want a 5 year deal.
