I loved watching Dak in college and think he is truly a good guy but cmon man. I know the Cowboys got a hell of a deal with him on his rookie contract but it's $35M a year. Accept it and move on.

$45M lol. Wow. But if the Cowboys do sign him to the franchise tag and he walks...this might be a blessing in disguise for Dallas.

That being said, I think it's about the length of the deal. I think he wants a shorter deal SO he can make possibly more on a bigger deal in the next few years.

Chris Simms is known to make shit up. I wouldn't waste any time on anything if it came from Simms. He got where he was in college because of his dad's name, got a courtesy look at the NFL because of his dad's name and busted out, has had multiple media opportunities because of his dad's name and hasn't caught on anywhere because he's not good at that either. So now he's making shit up to try to stay media relevant.

I disagree with almost all of that. Except for the “make shit up part”. His words are turned into gospel sometimes when he is spit ballin. He was a good QB and a good teammate.

Since you brought it up, tell me how many post season games 8 Ball has won in his first 2 years and how many Joe did in his first 2 years....There's your stats who was the best....
Let me help you, 0 is not your winner !!!
Hey throw Dak in with 8 Ball and they still come up way short of Joe....That's the facts Manny !!

You can't compare qb ratings with someone who has played 11 years to ones that have played a couple, it's too misleading because of the body of work for each player is so different.
But what would you want a high qb rating and no post wins or the post wins ????
Flacco is done now but in his day, NE players have said that was the one team they didn't want to see in the playoffs and he was 2-2 against the winningest team in the past 20 years....
8 Ball has to prove he can do it when it counts and so does Dak....In the meantime, they are losers...

Don't get me wrong , Flacco had one of the best post-season runs on his way to the SB win ever seen but Balt with Flacco missed the playoffs in 15,16,17 and would have been 18 with him going 4-5. Lamar took the same team and went 6-1. Sure he lost his first playoff game but he was a rookie who played half a season. Kid is 19-3 as a starter and threw for 365 yards in second playoff loss. If he had 8 balls Lewis and Reed, sky would be the limit. PM lost his first 3 playoff games only throwing for 200 yards in 1 of those games and look how he turned out. I think you might be the only person on planet who thinks Joe is/was better than Lamar. Believe I wish we had Lamar in NE now , only 2 other QB's I would take over him would be Mahomes and Wilson.

Guess you would take not going to the playoffs then 19-3 and at least in playoffs

Flacco had a few great post season games, other than that his TEAM won on the backs of its defense.

Well that's where we differ Sonny, I am not led astray by stats except for wins and losses and those at crucial times...
Look how people used to compare PM and Brady, most will say PM was the better qb between them but folded in the post season and TB was that guy that when it was all on the line, made a big play and won 6 to 2 SB's...
Yeah you keep the stats, give me the wins....
When 8 Ball puts some post wins together, then I'll give him credit, not before....Same with Dak, that new kid in Zona too....Right now they are all just hopefuls...

Yeah SB 47 was won with the 17th ranked D....Joe took us to the AFCCG his rookie year, playoffs 5 in a row with wins in all, 2 more AFCCG's, a SB MVP historic playoff run and won more games as a rookie starter than anyone in the league except Brady...
    Yeah he was ok !!

Well you brought up Dalton who is 0-4 in playoffs and Dak has won a playoff game . And not so sure about more people thinking PM was a better QB.

3 fanatstic 8 balls on your team Lewis, Reed and Lamar . Cue ball's Dilfer and Flacco not so much, even though they were there for the ride
