Did I agree with anyone? I'm just stating reality.
Most consider screens an extension of the running game.
Most consider signing UDFAs as part of the draft process.
It's not drafting but it is the same process.
"extension" and "process" both broaden the actual meaning.
Does the signing of UNDRAFTED Free Agents commence when the DRAFT is over, as in FINISHED? YES.
Signing UDFAs is essentially the same as signing veteran free agents. Both are done outside of the DRAFT and both require evaluating players. Both types of signings are a part of team building rather than the DRAFT process and signing them has more to do with needs when the DRAFT is OVER.
