No. A good Arguement can be made for top 15. but not top 10.....

Jackson is a Good Runner with a Meh arm.

Probably 11 or 12 on My list

Allen
Mahomes
Burrow
Rodgers
Purdy
Hurts
Smith
Hebert
R. Wilson
Dak
I think Lamar is being sold short as a passer. I do agree that he could be better at processing information and reads more quickly. At the same time, how much of that is him and how much of that is the coaching he’s received. Since the franchise tag news broke you’ve seen a bunch of comments coming out from former Ravens WRs like DeSean Jackson, Dez Bryant, and Hollywood Brown that all pointed to it isn’t Lamar it’s that system that had them wanting to get the hell out of Baltimore. Anyway here’s my personal 10. I have Hurts in there but since I’m an Eagles fan (and a Homer) I’m gonna refrain from slotting him in here
1. Mahomes
2. Burrow
3. Allen
4. Herbert
5. Lawrence
6. Lamar
7. Goff
8. Cousins
9. Rodgers

I don’t have Dak, Geno, Russ, or Purdy anywhere near my top 10 list.

Why not purdy...... More Sample size?

To me Purdy proved to be a winner, sometimes that's all it takes.

Lawerance was Bolded becuase i was kicking his name around. To me 11 or 12 as well,

I can understand that sometimes the QB needs a cast of Support and Baltimore hasn't given him that. That is because of his Running Ability. I call him the "Human Joystick"

Why not Purdy? I’ve seen too many mediocre QBs propped up in Shanahan’s system. I think people are knee jerking on him. He’s Mr Irrelevant for a reason. They just never saw a decent defense that could have given him a problem during his short run.

Vaild, Good point.

Us (TNF), with our Secondary, and Dallas (Playoffs) were the only decent ones he saw.

Because these owners are desperate to get a QB. We see that desperation in every draft and every FA cycle. I think we all agree the numbers we saw Carr Jones and Geno get were stunning and these guys aren’t really “franchise QBs”. We will see 4 QBs go in the first round and to be honest, personally, I think only Stroud is close to being a can’t miss NFL starter. The others come with risk in my eyes. Desperation is what led to the Vikings fully guaranteeing Cousins a few years back. Desperation is what led to the Browns fully guaranteeing Watson’s deal. All it takes is one team to set a precedent. That precedent has now entered the market. Owners are pissed and now collectively they want to dial that back.

In full disclosure, you’re talking to a guy who has been convinced for quite some time that the NFL owners have long practiced collusion in their ranks. I don’t want to have this conversation take a turn and get into the kneeling shit but you can make an argument that they practiced collusion in no one hiring Kaepernick despite the fact that he could have been a back up at a minimum for people. And then when the law suits came trying to prove the NFL colluded, I think they colluded again and set up a fugaze sort of work out for teams to come see him with the possibility of signing him after he had been out of the league for a few years. I just think collusion is what they do. Hey, it’s tough to actually prove in court unless some rat decides to step up and end their gravy train that is access to NFL revenue. I don’t blame them for pushing the envelope in terms of what they can get away with. That’s just human nature. Of course, I can’t prove any of this. I’m just trying to flush this out so you can see how I drew my conclusion.
Well, the Browns have given Watson a full guarantee which goes counter to your theory of collusion. I think you have some preconceived biases that have caused you to jump to a conclusion that desperation should cause owners to act in a manner that goes against their own interest as an owner, signing someone for top dollar, giving up 2 firsts, and taking on all the risk on fully guaranteeing a long term contract. Jackson just isn't seen as a player that motivates an owner to throw caution to the wind and take that kind of ultra-expensive risk.
The owners may have different personalities and differences, but they got where they are by being good businessmen and driving hard bargains, no need to collude because they are all like-minded when it comes to business by nature.

Hell, using last year's numbers, Goff should be there too!

I’m saying that the collusion occurs in response to what the Browns did not prior.

Dude…Goff was on my list haha. I have him at 7 (really 8 because I’ve slotted Hurts higher but I didn’t want this to become people attacking me for the way I rated Hurts)

he might be 10 on that list.
Least we know who isn't near his top 10 list.

opinions remain like ass holes....

:wash:
How much more do you need to see from Dak to know that he’s not a top 10 QB?

I'd ask you the same about Hurts one season.

Here's the thing coach, your OPINION has no more value than any other opinion stated here.
sorry
We haven’t seen Hurts regress yet. In fact, the last time anyway saw him he played the best football game of his life. Meanwhile, we continue to see Dak fail. Don’t get me wrong. I’m elated that the Cowboys are committed to him. Just sayin’

Many have said Baltimore is one of the best ran organizations in pro football. I think this shows why they are near the top.

History says the Ravens have a good shot at keeping Jackson, who is the only player in NFL history to throw 25 touchdowns and rush for 1,000 yards in a season (he did it twice), and one of just two players – Tom Brady being the other – in NFL history to be voted a unanimous MVP. In the 30 years of NFL free agency, defensive tackle Sean Gilbert is the only player to receive the nonexclusive tag, sign an offer sheet and end up with that new team, according to ESPN Stats & Information. It was 25 years ago when Gilbert was tagged by Washington and left for Carolina.

Two former NFL executives are unsure whether the nonexclusive tag increases the chance of Jackson’s return to Baltimore. Both agreed the only certainty is the tag will jump-start stalled negotiations that have spanned 25 months.

The weird thing about Dak is that when he's on his game, he can easily be considered a top 10 QB. But when he's off, he can also be a bottom 10. He is in short the very model of inconsistency.

you're just trolling. I saw him regress in college. May still be time, two years isn't stardom unless you are an eagles fan.
22 touchdown passes and 3700 yards is stout. Worthy of top 5 going forward, I'm sure.

Last year was his worst and yet, he had a few moments...And you have the 2020 season hurt.
Otherwise, I'll stay with Prescott while the eagle troll talks shit.

When you’re up 3 scores playing a garbage schedule there’s a tendency to run the clock with one of the best rush offenses in the league.

And as per usual, I’m questioning your opinion on ball if you think Hurts regressed in college. He was never a great passer in his first two years at Bama. He didn’t “regress”. Tua started to click in the offense and Nick Saban’s dominant team only had a need to make the change when they were down to Georgia in the National Championship game. His best year as a passer in college came at Oklahoma.

I expressly didn’t want to make this a Hurts thread but you’re a one trick pony and emotionally insecure. You can’t tolerate that a poster didn’t have your broke ass QB on a meaningless poster’s list of top 10 QBs so now you’re hijacking the thread. It’s fitting that you’re a Cowboys fan because a poster you’re like your team…
