I don't know why but this is a game I was looking forward too all year and if things would have worked out I would have gone to the game. Cleveland is not a pushover that will just hand the Broncos a win. Mayfield is playing pretty well for a rookie and looks like he might be the QB of the future for them pending what he continues to grow. The Browns are coming in winning 3 of 4. We will see if this Broncos team still has the spirit to fight or if the 49ers game broke their spirit. I would bet they come out and fight for the remaining glimmer of hope for the playoffs.

Looking forward to seeing Baker. He looks like the real deal.

The 2 QBs I liked best (Mayfield and Allen) are showing signs being the future for their teams. Rosen and Darnold are not declared busts at this point either. The 2018 QB Class representing itself well.

Mayfield seems to bring an energy similar to Lindsay.

It IMO is a loss they are playing better than we are. This staff seems stuck on not scoring until the 2nd half. This team is a solid one and headed the right way but it needs a work over other than the OL staff and DL coach good bye. I also would keep Woods but as a DB coach.

Woods likely won’t downgrade on the same team. My guess is if he is gone he will go be a DB coach elsewhere.

Love what Chubb has shown so far and think he's gonna be a good, but damn, if Mayfield had been there at #5. He's had some bumps in the road, but he's got all the showing of a franchise dude, and considering what we're staring down the barrel of at QB....

47-10 Broncos. Just cause they've been so flaky this year, why not?

Just remember how great RGIII was his rookie year and how disappointing since. I always like to wait for a second full year and maybe into a third before judging a QB, but early signs are encouraging for Cleveland.

Baker has been ok. Need more time to fully see what he will do long term. Has room to grow.

Give it up boys. Losing Harris and Sanders was the death blow of a unlikely playoff berth even before kickoff vs SF. Now after a Mullen led SF team made the Denver team look pathetic, you actually think another rookie named Mayfield isn't going to demolish that D ?. That said, he won't have to produce more than 17 points anyway to win. Next year !!!! Whoo Hooooo!

I’m with you @fightinredantz i was really looking forward to this game. Just wish it was a meaningful game for the Broncos. At this point the Browns appear to be in better shape than the Broncos and definitely trending in the right direction assuming they get the right coach hired.

I don’t hate where the Broncos are right now but there are some uncertainties following that Niners loss. And the injuries have been ridiculous this season.

shanny designed a one read slant pattern offense for RGIII because he could not throw from the pocket and was a threat to run

Baker looks better in a more conventional offense

As usual, let's look into how both team stack up going into the game on Saturday:
Cleveland Browns
Total Offense: 15th with 359.4 yards per game.
Rushing: 14th with 120.2 yards per game.
Passing: 17th with 239.2 yards per game.
Scoring: 18th with 22.5 points per game.
Sacks: 17th with 36.

Total Defense: 31st with 411.2 yards per game.
Rushing: 28th with 133.3 yards per game.
Passing: 31st with 277.9 yards per game.
Scoring: Tied at 24th with 25.5 points per game.
Sacks: Tied at 23rd with 30.

Turnover Margin: Tied for 4th with +9.

Denver Broncos
Total Offense: 358.6 yards per game.
Rushing: 7th with 130.2 yards per game.
Passing: 21st with 228.4 yards per game.
Scoring: 19th with 22.3 points per game.
Sacks: 13th with 30.

Total Defense: 24th with 383.4 yards per game.
Rushing: 19th with 119.2 yards per game.
Passing: 26th with 264.2 yards per game.
Scoring: 9th with 21.7 points per game.
Sacks: Tied at 4th with 40.

Turnover Margin: Tied for 4th with +9.

On Offense these teams are very close statistically, but Cleveland is a little better in pretty much every category. On defense Denver is better in or tied in every category.

Should be an interesting game to watch if both teams play to their averages.

Sutton, Wolfe, Harris, Barrett, and Yiadom miss practice. Marshall, Brock and LaCosse were limited.

The whole team is laid up. Practices are probably going to be just VJ and the ball boy by the time the season ends!

Is Brendon Langley still around for us? Any chance he gets called up to play this week?

He was activated 3 weeks ago playing special teams. (KR/kickoff coverage) If Brock doesn’t return this week we will see both Langley and Jamar Taylor. We may have 3 active CB’s this week. We may have to make a move. When we officially get eliminated I would guess Chris Harris would go on IR.
