Game Thread: Week 2- Washington Commanders @ Denver Broncos

Time to move on to the next. @LGM will be at this game so I think the Broncos will be bringing their A game knowing LGM is in the stands.

If we start 0-2 with 2 home loses against Raiders and Commanders this won't be good. Hopefully we learn a lot about this loss.

Ridiculous and sad, yet true............this week TWO game is a must win for the Broncos.

Well, the Commanders looked about as bad as Denver did today maybe worse especially on Offense, but they got the win so that automatically gives them a leg up and some momentum.

They allowed 6 sacks to a subpar Cardinals defense so we’ll really see if our pass rush truly is bottom of the barrel or not.

I don’t consider the Raiders a good team, so I would consider this playing “down” to our opponent.

Sorry man.. I don't think we are very good either. I don't think either of us is awful and I think we can both get better as the year goes on.. I just don't think either of our teams are very good right now.

I think both are better than last season (low hanging bar was set) but def think both can get better....

RW was much more efficient but his ypa would concern me....unless that is Payton's plan.

Agree with this. Both teams should be better then last year but going to be some bumps along the way. I think it is going to be a better year for us both but a lot of ups and downs. I think this game was big for both of us especially us at home against a team we lost to 6 times in a row. Just a letdown. Right now I don't think either of us are "good" but I think both of us are better and I do think both of our teams are going to get better as the season goes on barring health.

Even though we lost, seeing a much improved Russ even if it was just one game was pleasing. Going back to after Hackett was fired, Russ has looked much better.

Like I said. I think Payton really needs to get that losing culture out of the locker room. Players can't be ok with losing. We are too use to it right now. Gotta be better then just being happy to be in the league. Gotta be a winner.

commanders have done that for as long as i,ve watched them about 50 years.wilson played good yesterday,the broncos d let then down i thought in watching highlights

Broncos D only gave up 17 points.. However, it is a bit misleading, IMO... Both teams had long drives... Both teams ate away at the clock. Broncos had no pass rush yesterday.
