  Signed OL James Ferentz to the 53-man roster from the practice squad, placed OT Conor McDermott on Injured Reserve and elevated CB Breon Borders and TE Matt Sokol from the practice squad to the active roster.

Had some thoughts about this game and the final two.

We're all Patriots' fans and when we sit in front of the TV every week, we want this team to win.

Yet, we all seem to recognize that we also want the Patriots to have the best player in the draft available to them. That doesn't matter whether they lose 17 games or win 17 games and the Super Bowl.

Tonight, I want them to win. Regardless if it costs them them three or four spots in the draft. The Broncos were gifted an AFC Championship for Super Bowl L so that Peyton Manning could go out on top. The last thing the NFL wanted was for the Patriots to get that special fiftieth SB Lombardi.
That and the Broncos have always seemed to get breaks to go their way when they play the Patriots. Playing the Broncos at Mile High has always given the Patriots fits, even with the GOAT driving the wagon.

At +125 I went all-in on the Patriots winning straight up.

Defense has held twice .

Special Teams shits the bed .

Can't win games by not being able to play offense or special teams and hope that the defense can work miracles.

Eventually every team that starts every series inside the opponents 25 yard line will score.

Can anyone explain why BOB is calling a handoff from the shotgun on a 3rd and 2??

Again, horrible play calling from the coaching staff.

This shit looks like the staff is trying to lose games.

Every handoff from under center is getting 3 or 4 yards.

Zappe has been sacked twice but he moved the team down to the Denver 15 before BOB started calling stuff that went nowhere and end up a FG.

He's a rookie. He'll get it. It appears we do not have to worry about a kicker or a punter for five years. When thinking long term, it was the right move to make.

Zappe showed something in this game. He cannot get passes off in 1.5 seconds. He is deadly accurate if he gets 3 seconds.

I'm convinced that if the OL was mediocre, Zappe could lead this team to 10-13 wins every year. ""MEDOCRE"" If the OL was outstanding, this would be a 13-15 win team. With the WRs that were on the field tonight. Give him 3 #2s and 2 #3s and he'd be throwing for 300+ every game.

I don't know where this team will pick but OL, OL, OL would be my first three picks.

There's a ton of coal in the stockings hanging on Denver fireplaces tonight.

We saw the exact thing. Real freaky 4th quarter sideline … Zappe looked like a robot on those handoffs … as if he were as stunned as us … that whole quarter looked as crooked as I ever saw … even that game winning series of playing the clock then giving Zappe the green light for two plays to put it in the hands of Ryland … Belichick looked almost disappointed

This game showed as much as any he should be canned …
