Rex Ryan would have been a significantly better hire. I really didn’t like the idea of Joseph returning. At this point I just hope our defense can get out there and have a good week of practice.

Of course the non call on the PI was big - but what about overruling the two point conversion in the second quarter? Did someone have a different angle that showed the ball crossing the line? That had the HQ anti-Peyton bias written all over it.

I have to admit my great friend I was concerned about this anti Payton angle with Payton hire. It seems he gets short end of the stick.

This defense has forced 3 punts in two games ... Opponents have scored on 10 of 17 non kneeldown drives, and two of the 7 non scoring drives were missed FGs with one INT in the EZ .. So 13 out of 17 drives the opponents have either scored or have put themselves into scoring position

Why are teams praised for admitting the stink and rebuild but, in Denver everyone is anti rebuild after 7 yrs of crap. The model has worked for other teams really well. Is this how you become Det of old. I get you hate non optimistic view but, this team lacks dogs and are honestly broken. I think our core needs new scenery whether they're to blame or not. When is honestly enough for you? I know its Payton's 1st year yada yada but, same issues still surface 23 Broncos are Karl Dorrell Buffs

Boy does Sean Payton ever have his work cut out for him. This team is mired in a culture of losing.

On a side note I’ve seen all I need to see from Vance Joseph. The man who went a long way toward installing this culture of losing is not the answer at DC.

We have made a lot of changes over the past two years.

I think we are just the new Cleveland Browns. Nothing works.

We are also just two games into the Sean Payton era. Sucks we are 0-2 but he wasn't going to turn it around in one year. Would feel way better if we were 1-1 though now it feels like our season is over already losing to two not so good teams at home to start the season.

Many NFL teams go through this kind of a rut. Typically the most common way out is finally finding that franchise quarterback of the future. If you look at most of the Superbowl winning teams in the last ten years, it starts and stops with the QB. Until we get there, I see more mediocrity and/or poor play. Sigh....

Yep and Wilson's stats through two games are actually pretty solid.
