Popped out to the store to get a few things and saw a guy wearing a mask that said "This is useless" on it.

But hey, at least bonus points for him actually wearing a mask. When stores won't let you in without a mask, you have to find a creative way to let people know how fucking stupid you are I guess.

I so badly wanted to get next to him, pull my mask down and have a coughing fit to see how fast he ran off but I had to get back home for a conference call and couldn't afford to be arrested.

my wife has been picking up some of the mask designs that artists are doing (usually raising funds for charity)
she offered this one from Ai Wei Wei to our daughter to wear to school. Daughter didn't think it would go over well.

I've been working for a canvassing organization, trying to register new voters, and I am pleased to report that almost everyone at every site has worn their masks, at least when they went into the stores I was standing outside of.

But good lord, some of these people. I had one yesterday just want to talk about how intelligent the whole Trump family was, especially Barron. Another just casually dropped a slur. I got booted from a location, and the guy who booted me took off his mask to get in my face, smiling stupidly as he told me to leave, and trying to goad me into a confrontation, even as I said that was fine, and I'd tear everything down by had to wait for a ride to leave. There have been so many people who try to get a rise out of me by saying they're voting for Trump, including one whose efforts felt weirdly... horny? I would be much happier if everyone just let me ask my questions, gave me their answers, and registered to vote with me if they needed to, rather than, you know, all of this.

Sure, there have always been disagreements in politics but it sure seems to me like the Trump supporters go out of their way to incite confrontation and argument. Many are nasty cruel people.
