I think you’re gonna have a hard time convincing more than 50% of the population to keep getting boosters etc. when high vaccination rates still result in lockdowns on Christmas. This is going to be more detrimental than helpful in the long run fight.

Before this blew up they were preaching 6 months between dose 2 and 3. Went down to 3 months very quickly in all the other jurisdictions.

I know they wanted to use as many resources as possible to get kids the shot but if the booster could've been done sooner it should've just been made available to everybody as soon as the manufacturer says it's possible.

This really shouldn't still be a roll out problem, and yet...

You should be getting the call any day now...as should me and the missus as we're on the same time line (my second jab was on June 22nd).

I had to set it up myself from a list of places that I could get it done at. Meijer scheduled me in late January, Kroger couldn't figure out what I was asking, Discount Drug Mart asked for my phone number to schedule and has been texting me coupons every day for 2 weeks and hasn't scheduled me yet and I found a small town pharmacy 45 minutes away that could do it.

But at least *I* get to pay a lot for this shitty service.
