I was looking at all of canada, not just BC ... but my rounding was wrong anyways lol ... we should hit 80% in canada by July 30 ... I should have stuck with my initial "tough sledding to reach 85%"

US with a little over 90 times the number of new COVID-19 cases today as compared to Canada. The last three days have seen a jump from over 21K to just under 30K to over 35K today.

I saw that every single person in hospital in LA County with covid is unvaccinated.

I'd say I don't give a shit except 1) the hospitals are going to get overrun again which is unfair for everyone else, especially healthcare workers, and 2) this is how variants are created which may eventually overtake the vaccine effectiveness.
