Went to a movie for the first time since 2019 over the weekend.

It was humorously A Quiet Place 2, a world which makes COVID times seem downright easy.

The theater was about 40% filled, but of course we have another couple sitting right next to us with 4 empty seats to the side of them. Because how could you possibly program a database to have an empty seat between groups?

Was just notified that I’ll be contacted for my second dose after June 7 (8 weeks after dose #1).
Good news is that I can get any of the vaccines for #2. I had AZ for #1.

If you got the Moderna shot first, you just tap your left ear lobe twice and you can ask Bill Gates directly.

If you got Pfizer, you just ask out loud "Dolly - tell me about mixing doses" and Dolly Parton sings you a song about your vaccine options. It's just a lazy reboot of "Jolene" with "vaccine" liberally substituted (not in the third chorus for some reason?!?). But what it lacks in creative ambition and production execution, it makes up for with spot on inoculation information.

If you got J&J, well, I don't know. I didn't go into a Burger King.
